Hylight: an aerial inspection technology driven by design.

Collaboration overview

We partnered with HyLight, a deeptech startup backed by Y Combinator (YC S23), to completely redesign their corporate website.

The goal was to translate their zero-emission aerial inspection technology into a clear, immersive, and credible web experience for industrial stakeholders.

Vision

HyLight designs hydrogen-powered airships capable of inspecting critical infrastructure such as power lines, pipelines, and railways, while eliminating CO₂ emissions.

In the midst of a growth phase, the team wanted a website that could support their development and reflect both the strength of their technology and their ambition for sustainable innovation.

Project details

The new website opens with a custom 3D scene built in Blender, showcasing HyLight’s captive drone technology. Each section was designed to tell a fluid, coherent story, combining scroll effects, controlled animations, and wireframe visuals inspired by the industrial world.

We also integrated a custom CMS to facilitate the management of use cases, technical articles, and career pages.

The overall design is built on a sober, technical art direction, halfway between industrial precision and aerial innovation.
