Kestrix: making thermal data readable to accelerate building retrofit

We partnered with Kestrix, a startup specializing in mapping building heat loss using drones, AI, and thermal analysis, to completely redesign their website.

The main challenge was to transform a complex, expert-level technology into a clear, immersive, and credible web experience, making the solution more accessible while asserting its level of innovation.

Vision

Kestrix develops a platform that identifies, measures, and visualizes building heat loss, helping housing and energy stakeholders better manage their retrofit strategies.

In a context where technical data can quickly become hard to read, the team wanted a website that could better tell their product story, showcase their expertise, and concretely explain how their technology fits into large-scale energy renovation.

The objective was clear: design a strong, educational, and visually distinctive homepage that makes the product more tangible, more understandable, and more memorable.

Project details

The new website is built around an immersive homepage, designed as a true product demonstration experience. We created a scroll-driven 3D header that illustrates, step by step, how Kestrix captures, analyzes, and transforms thermal data into actionable insights.

We also reworked the entire information hierarchy to clarify key sections: problem, solution, features, credibility proof, awards, and calls to action. The work focused as much on substance as on form, with strong attention to copywriting, reading rhythm, and conversion.

Finally, the website was designed to stay performant and readable across all devices, with full responsive adaptation and special care given to transitions, interactive components, and the mobile experience.
